Joliet Sludge Tanks

Aquastore® glass-fused-to-steel tanks are found in virtually every segment of the liquids storage market and offer many advantages compared to other types of tank construction. Aquastore® tanks are designed to a wide range of standards, such as AWWA D103, AISC, Factory Mutual codes and NFPA 22, and are ANSI/NSF 61 certified.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Two (2) 126×26 Aquastore tanks used on a 10 MGD waste water plant. These tanks will allow for storage of aerobically digested sludge. Design also allows for pumping stored sludge to gravity belt presses for further dewatering and then on to a truck loading facility. The final storage design utilized glass-fused-to-steel tanks with an internal mixing system.
